There are several benefits of private tutoring hence, it has become so popular. Now more than ever, we think it’s best to admit your child for private tuition. As we are all aware, COVID-19 has created a massive gap in your child’s education as schools have temporarily closed. This means pupils are not revising the curriculum as much as they should be. In order for your child to catch-up quickly enough in time for exams such as SATs, GCSE’s or A Levels, it is essential your child gets as much help as possible. Private tuition caters for your child’s academic abilities and needs. Our qualified tutors can help bring pupils up-to speed with the vital education they have missed out on.
Currently, we are doing our very best to ensure we can support our students and their families through this pandemic by offering online classes to students who are eager to catch up on time lost during this pandemic. Our online classes are effective and convenient just as our face-to-face delivery mode at our center. Teachers carry out zoom classes where they teach four students who have a similar level of learning and they provide students with homework via email.
We understand that there will be a digital divide between students as not everyone can access a computer or the internet and that this will affect the disadvantaged pupils in the long-term. However, we can assure you when our center is open and we are running face-to-face classes we will provide your child with the help they need, and act as an extra support after school learning.
When our center opens for normal classes, the classroom sizes will be decreased so that a level of social-distancing is maintained. We can assure you we have cleaned our center thoroughly and are able to provide students with hand sanitizer. Teachers may wear protective equipment such as mask or gloves if they want to. We are trying our best to follow government guidelines as closely as possible to keep you, your child and our staff safe.Lastly, we’ve listed some of the pros of your child attending private tuition to remind you of the greater good it does:
Benefits of private tutoring:
- Tuition is tailored to your child’s needs: The tutor can assess your child’s abilities through the admission test or mocks they do with us. The tutors can then work at your child’s pace and help them revise specific topics which they didn’t understand in school. The school education system can be seen as generic as teachers often teach a class of up to 30 students with different abilities whereas a private tutor will have a smaller class size to give your child enough attention and time to cater for their learning style.
- Private tutors can help your child figure out their learning style: Whilst teaching your child the core subjects, tutors also help pupils pick up vital study skills such as time management, organisation, effective reading and note-taking, retaining information and dealing with assessments.
- Private tuition is flexible and convenient: We run class’s weekends and weekdays so you can find the perfect time for your child to attend tuition without changing your schedule. Your child will be able to study when it suits them so that they can also focus on other extra-curricular activities.
- Private tuition gives you access to further educational material: By attending our tuition your child will be provided with all sorts of material such as practice papers, textbooks, revision question books, stationary, access to computer to do research and much more!
- The private tutor will help your child work towards their targets: we recognize our students’ talents and ensure we share their progress with the parents during parent’s evenings. The tutors take their time to create realistic goals with the students to help them move up their grades effectively.
- Furthermore, in the case of the summer 2021 GCE and GCSE exams, we are putting new strategies to meet each individual child’s specific needs. The aim is to ensure any time which was lost during the closure of school is recovered. Our assessment will help reveal each child’s specific needs and the tailored support they require to catch up with the lost time.
